Baker Hughes’ rig report shows positive gains across the board today. Horizontal rigs gained nine this week, six oil, and three gas.
The biggest changes this week were in the Permian. Midland Co. and Webb Co. Texas each added three rigs for a total of 18 and 3, respectively. Eddy, Co., New Mexico dropped three rigs for a total of 21 active horizontal rigs. Charts this week show horizontal oil rigs count by basin versus WTI price from 2015 to present.
