As a follow-up to last week's horizontal report, below highlights the vertical wells spud across the state in the first half of 2020.
Cameron Energy and Pennhills Resources have drilled the most wells accounting for over 75% of the spud count. YOY growth is negative across the state and drilling confined to three counties in 2020.
The first drilling rig I stepped foot on was a single-rig in Oil Creek State Park, targetting oil west of the current activity. Horizontal triple-rigs are impressive, but with the amount of time I spent on RD20s, there will always be fond memories of these small rigs.
